Our hotel was developed all over the past 30 years and nowadays it is an holistically concept. Its our primary objective to innovate the house every year.

Our 4 star Hotel Marlena is situated on the top of the hill above the historical city Merano. The Michelin-Tourguide announced the 4 star Golf and Spa Hotel Marlena as an extraordinary building, surrounded by a beautiful landscape.

Already at the beginning of the construction 30 ago was taken a special eye on a clear line management and individuality. Our reception room and the guest rooms of the hotel are all unique. The Garden gives shelter to over hundreds of different plants, among them rarities and eye catchers.

An highlight of Hotel Marlena is our lounge bar with our piano. Please do not forget to ask if it is possible to visit the wine cellar with the paintings of Rudolf Stolz. Our restaurant with its terrace is very popular for its spectacular view on Merano. 2012 our Villa Favorita was built. It is our newest complex, you will find contemporary arts in every single room, as well as in the hall.

The architectional concept of hotel Marlena is seen in all rooms, as well as in bar and reception room.

Every room in our 4 star Hotel Marlena are followed by a special concept for individual living. All the rooms are clear, big and comfortable. The rooms are equipped with TV-Flatscreen, minibar, balcony or gardenterrace and a bathroom.

The new Villa Favorita
Innovation meets tradition. On the foundations of the old house of the family Inderst the Villa Favorita represents a modern architectual highlight.
The Villa Favorita is the newest attraction of hotel Marlena. In March 2012 a multilevel "Villa Favorita" was planned by the architect Marlen Inderst. The Villa convinces with her 360° panorama view over the mountains of Merano and surroundings.

The new highlight of the Hotel Marlena is not only an architectional special feature.
The restaurant and bar as well as a meeting room with panorama view are situated in the new building.
Through an underground tunnel from the Villa Favorita you get to our Spa and Beauty Farm.

Garden/park
The garden of our hotel guarantees a natural feeling between plants and shrubberies.
Around our hotel there is a botanical garden with hundreds of exotic and native plants. Thanks of our mild climate there grow cypresses, magnolia, olive trees as welll as birch tree and maple trees. The garden is even home for special rarities like sequoia and the Australian Wollemie Pine Tree, which is a rare endangered species.
